Palm Oil Statement

Colonial Chemical, Inc. is concerned with the social and environmental impacts of palm oil production in tropical rainforest ecosystems around the world. We are committed to protecting rainforests, communities and our global climate.

Colonial fully supports the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) process of working towards sustainable palm production. We believe palm oil should be produced through sustainable plantations and not through the conversion of rainforests and/or peatlands.

Colonial currently uses palm oil suppliers that are members of the RSPO. We are auditing all of our suppliers to ensure that we only use sources of palm oil independently verified and certified to the RSPO criteria for sustainable palm oil production.

Colonial pledges to support the development of more sources of sustainable palm oil to ensure that our products are not sourced from companies engaged in the conversion of rainforests and/or peatlands.
