Colonial's ColaTeric CYAB Added to CleanGredients Database

SOUTH PITTSBURG, TENN. (December 22, 2009): Colonial Chemical's product, ColaTeric CYAB, has been added to the CleanGredients database, making it easier for formulators to identify the product as environmentally friendly and safe for consumers.

CleanGredients is an online database of industrial and institutional (I&I) cleaning product ingredients that meet the highest environmental and human health performance standards.

ColaTeric CYAB is a low foaming amphoteric with excellent coupling properties for industrial products. It provides good detergency in systems that require high cloud points and acts as an effective hydrotrope to couple nonionic surfactants into systems containing moderate amounts of electrolyte.

With superior environmental characteristics in comparison to conventional alternatives, ColaTeric CYAB can be used in a wide variety of household, industrial and institutional cleaners such as car washes, glass cleaners, aluminum cleaners and pavement cleaners.
