Colonial Chemical has pioneered the introduction of a new series of "green" surfactants based on alkyl polyglucoside derivatives. The Colonial SugaNate Series are sulfonated surfactants based on the renewable resource of alkyl polyglucosides.

SugaNate surfactants combine the advantages of high foaming, good emulsification and excellent lime soap dispersion to give the formulator maximum flexibility in the preparation of light and heavy-duty cleaners. The SugaNate products are also mild to the skin making them useful in hand soaps, dish wash products and anywhere worker exposure is a concern.

SugaNate surfactants are also useful over a broad pH range making them suitable for low pH acid formulations and also for high pH, high alkaline formulations. The stability of SugaNate surfactants at any pH will make them desirable in many formulations for industrial, institutional and household applications.
